This scratch-baked, hand-decorated cake has a simple piped border around the top and a sprinkle design around the cake, which "condenses" at the base. Choose your frosting color, sprinkle style, and sprinkle color scheme. Available in vanilla or chocolate cake, with vanilla buttercream frosting (or chocolate buttercream for an additional charge). Cakes are single-tier only (not stacked with a bigger tier on the base and smaller on top). "Layers" refers to how may round cake pans were used to bake the cake. A 6" 2-layer cake will use 2 round 6" cakes stacked together with frosting in between.


6" 2-layer cake serves 8-12 people


6" 3-layer cake serves 12-20 people


8" 3-layer cake serves 24-30 people


Cake Care Tips:


*Lift & carry your cake from the BASE of the box. If you hold only the box sides, the cake will fall through the box….and that will be very sad.


*Store your cake in the fridge, and out of the hot sun.


*Remove from fridge at least 30 min (in summer or if current room temp is above 72-degrees) or 1 hr (in winter / cooler weather) before you plan to eat it. The buttercream & cake will taste the best at room temp


*The frosting is made with real butter, which will melt in the heat & lose its shape. Some frostings are made with shortening, which acts as a stabilizer (and also makes the frosting whiter/lighter), this cake is not one of those 😉


*Store/display/transport cake on a level surface. For car travel, the cake will be safest & most stable on the floor of the front passenger’s side of the car.


*Store leftovers in an airtight container, up to 1 week. Or freeze up to 3 months 


*Your cake may have decorative pieces, like plastic toppers…please don’t eat them. 😉Also keep in mind that larger sprinkles can sometimes be really hard on the teeth, so you may want to enjoy them with your eyes only 😊

All of Sweet Whimsy's cakes are scratch-made, using flour, sugar, eggs, butter, milk, salt, baking powder, baking soda, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla. Other cakes like chocolate, red velvet, etc will have additional ingredients like cocoa powder and/or red food coloring.
